YAN HAN YUEN: “Still not enough. Every day you take three meals in the dorms, six days a week in the dorms, what if all of them you eat non-nutritional ones? If during the night you kick off the duvet and no one cares enough to put them back on you so you get hypothermia, what’ll you do then?”

*girls gossiping during class*
Girl 1: “Hey did you hear? YAN HAN YUEN has been taken in by his dad.”
Girl 2: “I heard! His mother was arrested and all her finances seized by the government-“
JIANG MING: “Be quiet! I can’t even hear what the teacher’s saying.”

(SCENE SHIFT, Several years later, out in the workplace, YE TZE’s visiting JIANG MING’s home)

Jiang Ming’s wife: “We get it already. It’s time to eat. Here Ye Tze, try my cooking.”
YE TZE: “Thank you. And I only have my own apartment because currently there’s no one to share it with. Once someone wants to share I’ll have to cohabit then too.”
JIANG MING: “Wife you’ve really outdone yourself today!” *picking up different pieces of food to place in her bowl* “Here try some meat, some fish-“
JIANG MING’s wife: “I have arms, I don’t need your help. Do you want to embarrass me in front of Ye Tze?”

JIANG MING: *drinks* “Ye Tze, it’s time you found yourself a wife too. I think your parents are quite anxious in this matter. The last time they saw me they kept asking if you have a partner yet.”
YE TZE: “Um…we’ll see.”
JIANG MING: “We’ll see what? Are you still waiting for that bastard? He pulled you down that road and yet disappeared halfway.”
YE TZE: “No it’s not his fault.”
JIANG MING’s wife: “How come you are so talkative? Hurry and eat.”
(Later that night)
YE TZE *to himself with his watch out*: “YAN HAN YUEN, this watch you gave me is always playing every day and I really have been thinking of you every second or every minute…have you ever even thought of me during this time?”
SCENE SHIFT, company office,

Manager: “Come in.”
YE TZE: “General manager, you called for me?”
Manager: “Yes, Little Ye, tomorrow our main Swiss office branch is sending someone for an inspection and rumor has it it’s going to be their CEO that’s visiting. I saw that you majored in English and are at proficiency level 8 even, so I want you to be my translator, are you willing?
YE TZE: “Yes, I’m willing. Thank you for trusting me.”
Manager: “Good, do you have a good suit you can wear?”
YE TZE: “Yes, its gray colored.”
Manager: “Good then wear that.”
YE TZE: “Yes sir.”
SCENE SHIFT, plane lands, inside company everyone is gathered to welcome CEO of Swiss branch.
YE TZE: “How can it be…how can it be…”
Employee: “Welcome CEO for our inspection.” *everyone claps*
YE TZE: “Yan Han Yuen.”
