千秋 Excerpt from Episode 3 of the Audio Drama

A little premise:

Scene takes place at night in temple. There is this powerful manual divided into 5 parts scattered all across the world. Even just mastering one portion will greatly increase your power.

In the scene they are fighting over one of the manual portions.

The super sexy character is “Yan Wu Shi” but everyone calls him “Leader Yan”. His nickname for the monk, to mock the man, is “Old bald donkey”.

Yun Fu Leader is cornered by several powerful ppl for the portion of Zhu Yan Manual she possesses. Knowing her sect is outmatched, she offers a deal to one of the ppl, a monk –named Xue Ting- whom she believes is the most trustworthy out of everyone, deal like: “If I give you the manual, can you ensure me and my sect’s survival?”

(Start of scene)

Monk/Old bald donkey: “Yun Fu Leader is able to see the greater good, I of course will show my gratitude in anyway I can.”

Yun Fu Leader: “Okay, I’ll trust you.” (holds up bamboo stick) The manual is inside this bamboo I-“

Monk and other ppl: “Drop the bamboo!”

Leader Yan: “Old bald donkey, let me see how powerful you are.” (they fight) (sounds of fists/magic/Leader Yan uses a special “Piercing Water” technique that’s why there’s splash sounds)

Meanwhile MC/Uke tries to escape with his friend: “Chen Long, lets hurry and escape.”

They start running right as Monk is defeated and exhales in exasperation: “Amitoupho”

After defeating the Monk, Leader Yan laughs when he sees MC and MC’s friend running: “Trying to escape?”

(He materializes in front of MC/Uke who gets frightened and says: “Leader Yan!”

Leader Yan: “Elevate!” (he pulls MC and MC’s friend up to ceiling of the temple)

MC’s friend: “W-we’re on the roof!”

MC: “Leader Yan…as the saying goes “resentment has a head, debts have a creditor”…we are all just innocent pawns to you…please don’t toy with us.”

Leader Yan: *laughs* “How can this count as toying? All those people below are fighting for the thing that you currently have in your hand, aren’t you at least a little elated?”

One of the guys below: “Leader Yan! Stealing the manual is already bad enough, now you’re giving it to a bystander, what do you mean by this?”

Leader Yan: “Don’t you all want to know what the manual says? All of us fighting will have no end, why don’t we all just share it? If I were to read it out loud I’m sure none of you will believe me, if you guys read it I wouldn’t believe a word either, so how about letting him read it?” *indicating MC*

Guy below: “But he’s blind! How could he possibly read anything?!”

Leader Yan: “Hmph” *pours power into MC through MC’s back* “Now he can read it. Go ahead.”

[MC starts to recite the contents of the manual, a lot of poetic lines, music sounds, and then the intro to every episode narrated by the director’s voice saying the name of the show/production company]

Leader Yan: “Done reading?” *he retracts his power, and MC returns to being blind* “As such, this manual no longer needs to exist.” *he destroys manual*

Guy below: “Leader Yan! That part of the Zhu Yan Manual was such a valuable artifact! How could you destroy it?!”

Leader Yan: “Only when it’s gone does it truly count as valuable. Just now it was recited, how much you remember is on you.”

Monk: “Leader Yan, your two bystanders are innocent people in the martial arts world. Once news of tonight goes out there will undoubtedly be people that target them. You may not have killed them tonight but they’re as good as dead because of you.”

Leader Yan: “Old bald donkey, how much more hypocritical can you get? You used to be in the Heaven’s Sect before you betrayed it, I’m sure the Zhu Yan Manual part there has already been read by you. Then you were the minister for Zhou Dynasty before it fell, I’m sure the Zhu Yan Manual in their treasury was also seen by you as well. Now tonight you’ve gained another portion of the five manuals. The saying ‘getting a good deal and still selling expensively’ clearly describes people like you.”

Monk sighs “Amitoupho” again in exasperation.

Leader Yan: “If there’s nothing else why don’t we all disperse, give you guys the opportunity to quickly return and write down as much as you can while you still remember. *sexy laugh* *disappears*
